Valdos Seafood House

Everything I ordered was so good. I have no complaints other than they for got to give me a lemon 🍋. Definitely coming back. I highly recommend the fresh Fish Fillet combination plate with pasta 👌 and the fried green tomatoes! 💯

Waitresses were rude and yelled across the restaurant at my family. They were rude when I ordered nonseafood items. Tried to insist that I buy seafood items.The windows and blinds were dirty. She also got mad when I told her my food was raw. Furthermore, the condiment bottles were dirty and expired. I was told they reuse the expired bottles which was gross considering they had hair on them. When she came for our finished plates the minute she saw my husband placed his card down she ignored me trying to give her my finished plate & snatched up his card. There was hair on the table. I paid and left. I will NEVER come here again.

Not much to look at from the front of the building but the restaurant was pleasant inside. Staff was friendly and attentive and the service was excellent. Cocktails were well made. Has the fried shrimp and the shrimp were big and cooked well but the portion size could have been half of what they provided and it would have been perfect. Come hungry.

This was our first time at Valdos, we went during lunch. The food was very reasonably priced and so delicious. We will continue to make this our go to spot for seafood from now on. The food is so plentiful you could share a plate even on the lunch menu.

Good seafood, HUGE portions. Be mindful of parking...there isn't a lot of Valdos only parking and you have to compete with Boondoggles, Chelsea's and other businesses for potential parking. Just pack patience on that front.

Wonderful experience! I love this place...definitely dated, MTV on tv...flashback to the 70-80's! I knew most of the songs and yes, I sang out loud with some table dance moves! Lol...they were not crowded! The seafood plate was amazing! You get a lot of seafood, not just tons of fries to make it look like you are getting more. My roommate from college and I did a girls weekend and this made for a great evening. We both had enough food left to have for breakfast the following morning. *She had the fish and shrimp plate.I referred a co-worker who liked it so well, he and his wife are taking the family there for Christmas Eve dinner.

We had the best appetizer, sampler platter, with a little of everything. We sat outside and enjoyed the breeze as boats passed by. Two people can share a plate of food. Their sweet potato mash that came on my salmon topped with grilled shrimp was the best. All the food was fresh and portions were giant. Presentation was beautiful and appetizing. We took 4 plates of food homeWith so much leftover.😊Our server, Stephanie, provided great recommendations and wonderful customer service. We will def return.

Sensational seafood in a lovely, laid back setting. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, offering suggestions and the daily specials. When we got our food, the blackened salmon was a bit dry (hence the 4 stars and not 5) but everything else was fantastic. The oysters on the half shell were absolutely UUUUUGE and tasty. They only have Tobasco or Louisiana sauce to pair with the oysters so maybe a couple other options would be nice to offer the patrons who like 'em spicy. Overall, I'm glad we checked Valdo's out and will definitely go back again...especially to give that blackened salmon another go round. Bon appetít!!

Good seafood place with a reasonably priced large menu covering fried and grilled seafood, oysters, Cajun specialties like etouffee. The fried green tomatoes are a definite try in the appetizers. Outdoor seating is nice in the evening overlooking the water. Cocktails can hit or miss.

Had the food delivered. Got the variety appetizer platter and three entrees. Everything was delicious. Portions were large. They even threw in a dessert for free. Definitely recommend!

Server needs to be trained. She brought my "sauce" (nasty mustard paste stuff when I was almost done. Food is production just like red lobster. Looks good but 😲

Food was phenomenal. Very large portions but kind of expensive. Not expensive for the portion size though.
